Job Description:
As a PowerBuilder/.Net Developer , you will provide application development, maintenance, and production support for critical enterprise systems. This role involves working with PowerBuilder and .NET applications, translating business requirements into technical solutions, supporting system operations, and ensuring application reliability through effective development, troubleshooting, and documentation practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide production support, administration, and maintenance for enterprise applications.

• Translate business and technical requirements into application and database solutions.

• Design, develop, modify, test, debug, and implement application enhancements.

• Support and maintain PowerBuilder-based applications and .NET solutions.

• Monitor system alerts, investigate issues, and recommend corrective actions.

• Troubleshoot application, database, and system-related problems to ensure operational stability.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and support materials.

• Perform system testing, validation, and deployment activities for application changes.

• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver solutions.

• Adhere to development standards, coding practices, change management procedures, and knowledge transfer requirements.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Strong experience developing and supporting applications using PowerBuilder.

• Experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting .NET applications.

• Hands-on experience with application maintenance, system administration, and production support.

• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing, and deployment processes.

• Experience translating business requirements into technical and database solutions.

• Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application and system issues.

• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and standard operating procedures.

• Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data-driven application development.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and effectively collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
