Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Manufacturing Specialist for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Thousand Oaks, CA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This role serves as a technical resource for drug product aseptic processing, supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations. The position will focus on strengthening aseptic compliance, improving process robustness, and enhancing operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives. The work schedule will begin as Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM, and transition to Wednesday-Sunday, 8 AM-5 PM, once 24/7 operations commence in 2027.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a drug product aseptic processing technical resource supporting 24/7 drug product manufacturing
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen aseptic compliance, process robustness, and operational efficiency
- Revise controlled documents, including SOPs, work instructions, and related records, to support process changes and improvements
- Own aseptic related deviations and support the evaluation of aseptic call log data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Develop clear metrics, summaries, and actionable outputs to convert operational data into decisions and priorities
- Establish and maintain a cyclic process for gathering information, addressing challenges, implementing improvements, and assessing effectiveness
- Provide on-the-floor support during aseptic operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience with aseptic practices and drug product filling
- Drug Product manufacturing experience
- Aseptic Compliance/Contamination Control Experience
- Outstanding communication skills
- Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree OR
- Master's degree and 2 years of experience OR
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience OR
- Associate's degree and 8 years of experience OR
- High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience
Pay range: up to $38.46 per hour
