Cyber DevSecOps Engineer

Salary: $160,000 - 185,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, along with 3+ years of DevOps/security experience and 1–2 years in DevSecOps.
• We expect Security+ or an equivalent certification, and preferably the Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP).
• We value additional credentials such as CISSP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or CKS.
• We look for experience typically reflected by about 8–10 years of relevant professional background.
• We require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

• We support the design, deployment, and upkeep of secure CI/CD pipelines with security scanning, vulnerability checks, and compliance verification.
• We embed security tooling and practices into DevOps workflows, including SAST, DAST, SCA, container security, and infrastructure-as-code analysis.
• We contribute to cyber-informed engineering by weaving security requirements into system architecture, design choices, and OT environments with senior guidance.
• We build and maintain security automation scripts, utilities, and frameworks to improve detection, response, and remediation.
• We partner with development teams on secure coding practices, code reviews, and remediation recommendations with moderate independence.
• We help design and implement AWS security controls such as identity management, network segmentation, and secrets protection.
• We assist with security incident response by supporting forensic analysis, root-cause identification, and remediation efforts.
• We help define and sustain security metrics, dashboards, and reporting to monitor security posture across development and production.
• We maintain documentation for security processes, procedures, and architectural decisions.
• We perform additional duties as assigned and communicate professionally at all times.

This is a full-time, exempt role offering a salary range of $160,000 to $185,000, with hybrid and remote eligibility and up to 10% travel as needed for project assignments.
