Job Summary

Join an acute care facility in Globe, Arizona, as a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry and Medical-Surgical care. This role involves providing direct patient care to adult populations across Telemetry, Medical-Surgical, and Observation units.

The successful candidate will manage a diverse patient caseload, ensuring high-quality care delivery within established patient ratios of 1:6 for Med-Surg/Observation and 1:4 for Step Down units. This position offers an opportunity to work within a supportive environment, utilizing advanced medical technology and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on Telemetry, Medical-Surgical, and Observation units.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry readings accurately.
• Administer medications safely and efficiently using automated dispensing systems and IV pumps.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Respond promptly and effectively to changes in patient condition and emergent situations.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Recent experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
• Recent experience in Telemetry nursing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Step Down unit.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong clinical proficiency in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing practices.
• Expertise in cardiac rhythm interpretation.

• Competence in operating Alaris IV pumps.

Shift Details
