Senior Network Administrator

Our client, a well-established enterprise organization with a nationwide footprint, is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to join their Infrastructure team. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a hands-on networking professional who enjoys balancing day-to-day operational support with enterprise infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will help maintain and modernize a large-scale network environment while partnering with internal teams and external vendors to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing network operations. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite each week. Responsibilities Support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across corporate offices, remote locations, and data centers. Troubleshoot complex routing, switching, wireless, and network connectivity issues while performing root cause analysis. Lead network infrastructure projects, including hardware refreshes, upgrades, and modernization initiatives. Install, configure, and support enterprise networking equipment including switches, routers, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, and load balancers. Partner with vendors and managed service providers to support ongoing operations and project delivery. Develop and maintain technical documentation, implementation plans, and network diagrams. Support cloud networking initiatives and assist with disaster recovery and business continuity efforts. Travel occasionally to remote sites for network deployments and infrastructure upgrades. Mentor junior team members and collaborate across infrastructure teams to ensure successful project execution. Requirements 6+ years of hands-on enterprise networking experience. Strong experience supporting Cisco switching, routing, and enterprise wireless environments. Experience troubleshooting complex network issues in a multi-site enterprise environment. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and overall network infrastructure. Experience leading infrastructure projects from planning through implementation. Experience working with third-party vendors and managed service providers. Strong technical documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred experience with Juniper Mist, Cisco ISE, Cisco Nexus, Fortinet Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, Azure and/or AWS networking, and network automation tools such as Ansible. #J-18808-Ljbffr firstPRO, Inc
