Reliability Engineer

The Reliability Engineer is responsible for leading maintenance, facilities, and reliability initiatives to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation. This role drives equipment reliability, optimizes maintenance processes, and leads capital projects to improve safety, productivity, and cost performance. The position serves as a key technical leader, providing engineering expertise to enhance manufacturing processes, maintain critical plant infrastructure, and support continuous improvement across the site. Key Responsibilities Lead all preventive and corrective maintenance efforts to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency. Manage maintenance teams and external contractors to ensure safe, high-quality execution. Develop and manage maintenance budgets and cost controls; monitor key performance indicators (e.g., downtime, OEE, maintenance costs) and implement improvement initiatives. Optimize work order systems and maintenance processes to improve visibility and execution. Oversee spare parts inventory strategy to ensure availability and cost optimization. Capital Projects & Continuous Improvement Lead capital projects from concept through execution, including scope, vendor selection, and implementation. Drive initiatives to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and increase operational efficiency. Support process improvements to reduce scrap, improve productivity, and lower cost. Facilities & Infrastructure Management Oversee plant infrastructure systems including utilities, power generation, water, and compressed air. Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of facilities and equipment. Leadership & Safety Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Lead, coach, and develop maintenance employees, including performance management and training.
