Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a travel assignment at a community hospital. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced ED serving patients of all ages, including a behavioral health unit, with the chance to grow professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a high-acuity environment.
• Assess, plan, and implement patient care according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond to behavioral health crises and manage mental health needs on the behavioral health unit.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active MA RN license or be eligible for an emergency MA license.
• Maintain ACLS, BLS, CPI, and PALS certifications.
• Have a minimum of 2 years recent ED RN experience.
• Be a registered traveler with at least one prior travel assignment.
• First-time travelers must indicate their status clearly during application.
• Possess strong critical thinking and communication skills.
