Quick Facts Location: Portland, OR (Providence St. Vincent and Providence Portland Medical Centers) Start Date: ASAP / Flexible End Date/Duration: Ongoing Shift Types: 12-hour or 24-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7am-7am) Hours/Week: Flexible based on shifts Employment Type: Full-time (permanent) Licenses/Certifications: Willingness to obtain Oregon OR license; Neonatal NP or PA with 12-month Neonatal PA fellowship or residency Experience Required: Neonatal experience preferred, especially with high-risk neonates and delivery work Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (rate discussed upon application; actual compensation to be provided) Benefits: Pay package discussed upon application Medical, dental, and vision insurance options Paid time off (PTO) Malpractice insurance Wellness and support programs Opportunity for professional growth and development What You’ll Do Provide clinical management of high-risk neonates and infants within a Level III NICU Conduct deliveries, perform procedures, and manage patient care independently Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and support staff Exercise autonomy in ordering, conducting, and interpreting diagnostic tests Educate families on neonatal care and treatment plans Participate in on-call rotations and emergency situations Maintain accurate documentation and uphold hospital protocols What You Need Required: Valid Oregon Medical or Nurse Practitioner license or ability to obtain Neonatal NP or PA certification with recent fellowship/residency Experience with high-acuity neonatal patients Strong clinical decision-making skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred: Experience working in Level III NICUs Prior delivery room experience Comfort with procedural skills in neonatal care About the Assignment Join a prestigious healthcare provider in Portland, Oregon, supporting two busy hospitals with Level III NICUs.
