Quality Tech is responsible for overseeing and monitoring the quality of all products and services within our organization. This includes ensuring all parts are up to the standards of our customers’ requirements, providing solutions to possible ‘problems’ that may arise and continuously improving our Quality & Environmental Management Systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Monitor and resolve customer requirements / feedback (CARs/Supplier Quality Manuals/IPP Process)
• Monitor and measure ‘First Parts Off’.
• Perform Incoming Inspection of Raw Materials for QC Approval before product can be released to manufacturing
• Communicate effectively & in a timely manner with the Quality, Engineering & Maintenance Managers as needed
• Develop, implement & monitor QMS Procedures to ensure they are capturing our processes for the most up to date employee training
• Occasionally sort and audit parts at the Customer’s facility & in house in our Red Tag Area if Quality concerns are found. Ensure proper documentation is kept of sorting activities to ensure accurate KPI Data is reported monthly
• Perform Manufacturing Product & Process Audits
• Monitor Quality Alerts: ensure being signed by operators, ensure expired are collected and filed
• Occasionally assist Quality Manager with creating ODSs, Master Set Up Sheets, Packaging Instructions, PPAPs, APQP, Go/No-Go’s, COPQ KPI, Audits Internally & Externally 

 

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• 3 years in similar role preferred
• Knowledge of best practices
• Experience with ERP Systems preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to Detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient in precision measurement
• Willingness to Learn
