Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Applied Physics Department Position Overview Harvard SEAS seeks a postdoctoral scholar to study how natural dyes and pigments influence the color of foods , focusing on photostability and dispersion challenges. The project combines experimental characterization (spectroscopy, microscopy, light scattering) with modeling of light transport . The candidate will primarily conduct experiments but may also contribute to computational and analytical modeling. The postdoc will report results to the project’s industrial sponsor . Funding: Through April 30, 2027, with preference for a January 2026 start , though later start dates may be considered.
