Our more than seven decades of progressive growth can be attributed to our determination to developing innovative systems and solutions, exercising environmental stewardship and enhancing the well-being of the communities in which we work and live.Location: Starkville, MS PlantJob Summary/ObjectiveUnder the direction of the Manager of Engineering, the Electrical Engineer II troubleshoots and resolves malfunctions to machine control systems and makes recommendations to improve efficiency or quality concerns.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoots and resolves malfunctions to machine control systems and makes recommendations to improve efficiency or quality concernsExperience and proficiency with ladder logic/PLC programming, Siemens and Rockwell preferredDevelops new and modifies existing PLC and/or HMI applications, interfaces, or embedded controls systems.Participates in set-up and commissioning of new systems or upgrading of current systems.Knowledge of AC and DC circuitry and electrical conceptsVersatile in ladder logic and various PLC programming languages. Working knowledge of field control devices (motors, relays, switches, photoeyes, etc.)Designs, develops, maintains, and modifies instrumentations and control systemsStart to finish electrical control system hardware design experience (control panel and field wiring)Competency in Electrical CADAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment.Required Education & ExperienceMinimum Education Level: Bachelor'sSpecialized Degree: Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering TechnologyYears: 3+Physical RequirementsCarrying/Lifting % Time 5% Weight: Up to 50 lbsClimbing % Time Enter %.
