Position Details:

• Location: Morton Plant Hospital, 300 Pinellas St., Clearwater, FL 33756
• Status: Fulltime
• Shift: 7:00AM - 3:00PM, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• On Call: Yes
• Always in person

Summary:

The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN also preforms the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

For this position, we require a minimum of 2 years RN experience. We strongly prefer at least 1 year Operating Room experience as an RN for consideration. This is a Variable shift position working a mix of shifts.

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RN (Registered Nurse)
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
• Preferred Nurse Specialty

Education:

• Associate's Nursing or Nursing Diploma
• Preferred Bachelor's Nursing
