Receptionist/Accounting Clerk

RFT Elizabethton, TN, US Salary Range: $17.00 To $18.00 Hourly The Receptionist/Accounting Clerk serves as the primary point of contact for office visitors and phone callers while supporting the finance or accounting department. Ths role ensures a welcoming environment for guests and maintains accurate day-to-day entry of purchase orders and any other accounting support needed by the accounting team. Key Responsibilities Reception & Front Office Duties Customer Service: Greet clients, visitors, and vendors warmly and direct them to the appropriate staff or department. Switchboard Management: Answer, screen, and route incoming multi-line phone calls with professional phone etiquette. Correspondence & Mail: Sort, distribute, and process incoming/outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries. Office Coordination: Maintain the cleanliness of the reception area, restock general office supplies, order items for factory with authorization, file Data Entry Enter purchase orders using an ERP system (Jomar) Assist the rest of the accounting team as needed Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Two year degree in accounting preferred. High School Diploma or GED with coursework, certificates in accounting and office administation considered. Experience: 1-3 years of combined experience in front-desk receptionist, administative assistant or entry-level accounting/bookkeeping role.
