School Psychologist near Hughesville, Maryland We are seeking passionate and dedicated School Psychologists to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an exciting opportunity to provide essential psychological services to students across two schools, covering all grade levels. Candidates with experience in behavioral intervention are highly encouraged to apply. Please note that these positions are onsite only. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized intervention plans and support strategies. Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed. Support the implementation of positive behavior support systems and social-emotional learning initiatives. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress, concerns, and recommendations. Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessment results, interventions, and progress monitoring data. Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Certification as a School Psychologist in Maryland (out-of-state and new graduates are welcome to apply). Experience working with students across diverse grade levels preferred. Strong knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies and techniques. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic educational environment.
