Registered Behavior Technician

This full-time contract position offers the chance to make a positive difference while working alongside dedicated educators and behavioral specialists. The role is primarily one-on-one with students but also involves some group work, offering variety and rewarding experiences each day.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Ability to develop rapport with adolescents and maintain professional boundaries
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and students
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in working with high school students of varying abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst
- Collect accurate data and maintain detailed records of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to support student independence and success
- Lead skill-building activities in both one-on-one and small group settings
- Utilize positive reinforcement techniques to encourage student growth and participation
- Participate in team meetings and contribute input regarding student progress
