Job Description Job Description
We are seeking a Pediatric Dentist (or General Dentist with pediatric experience) for a permanent opportunity in Springfield, Missouri. This growing practice offers comprehensive pediatric dental care, sedation services, and in-house orthodontics, along with flexible compensation, benefits, and long-term partnership opportunities. Both new graduates and experienced dentists are encouraged to apply, with mentorship available from the current doctors. Job Details
• Location: Springfield, Missouri
• Provider Type Needed: Pediatric Dentist (or General Dentist with Pediatric Experience)
• Reason for Need: Growth in patient volume; practice has capacity to expand with additional operatories
• Current Staff: 1 Pediatric Dentist, 1 Orthodontist, 2 Associate Dentists, Dental Assistants and Hygienists
• Patients per Day: 30-40 on average
• Procedures: General pediatric dentistry (exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns), sedation dentistry services, in-house orthodontics performed by Dr. Thomas Gardner
• Patient Age Range: Infants to teens
• Payor Mix: Heavily weighted towards private dental insurance plans (e.g., Delta Dental, BCBS); small portion of Medicaid patients Responsibilities and Duties
• Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care including preventive, restorative, and sedation services
• Collaborate with orthodontist and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care
• Manage patient flow efficiently and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Mentor and guide new staff as needed
• Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and infection control standards Additional Information
