Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Room DAYS position requiring TNCC and PALS certifications along with ACLS and BLS.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Care unit of a hospital environment
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Full-time work type

Requirements

• Active New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC from AHA
• CPI or equivalent certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Skilled in point-of-care testing procedures

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive emergency care including initial assessments, re-assessments, and individualized care planning based on patient age and needs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and support staff
• Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Candidates who previously worked at any CHRISTUS Health facility must have been separated for at least 6 months prior to starting a new travel assignment
