Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | Onsite | Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float between units as needed, including Pediatric Med/Surg and NICU
• Complete self-scheduling for expected 3 consecutive or split 12-hour shifts per week
• Participate in variable weekend shifts as part of the standard schedule
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies, including background and licensure requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of PICU experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms (locals may be considered at an adjusted rate)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs or Leads accepted)
• Must submit all time-off requests and scheduling needs upfront at the time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a children's hospital or pediatric trauma center setting
• Familiarity with floating between PICU, Pediatric Med/Surg, and NICU environments
• Strong adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced pediatric critical care environment
