MedStar Women's Health is seeking qualified Women's Certified Nurse Midwife to join our regional service line. We have a need at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center in Olney, MD. Minimal Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nurse-Midwifery required
• 1-2 years of advance practice experience required

Licenses and Certifications

• MIDWIFE - Nurse Midwife - Licensed in the State of Maryland and/or in the District of Columbia required and
• AC-CRN-Midwife MBON - ACCRNMID and
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required and
• CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required and
• Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Requires a high level of problem solving due to the complexity of the clinical situations encountered.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

This position has a hiring range of USD $115,003.00 - USD $189,999.00 /Yr.
