Location: Sellersburg, Indiana
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 38 hours per week, including every other weekend and possible holiday rotations

Position Summary

MinuteClinic is seeking an experienced  Nurse Practitioner (NP)to provide evidence-based primary and family healthcare to patients in a collaborative clinical care environment.

The Nurse Practitioner will work with a dedicated clinical care team to provide accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health conditions, health counseling, and disposition planning. The provider will report to the Practice Manager and will be expected to practice autonomously while collaborating effectively with the broader care team.

Candidates must have prior primary care or urgent care experience. Candidates who do not meet this requirement should not apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health conditions.

• Provide health counseling and disposition planning for patients.

• Perform routine examinations and diagnostic testing to assist with diagnosis and treatment.

• Manage chronic conditions and support quality outcomes.

• Educate patients regarding healthy lifestyle choices and encourage active participation in their healthcare.

• Support health screenings, behavioral health, wellness, and chronic condition management.

• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans.

• Handle patient appointments and follow-up activities.

• Perform administrative duties, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, insurance verification, and payment collection.

• Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.

• Work effectively as part of a collaborative clinical care team.

• Practice independently and make appropriate clinical decisions within the scope of practice.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care.

• Master's degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.

• Current national board certification.

• Current NP license in the state of employment.

• NP license must be in good standing.

• Working knowledge of quality measurement and chronic disease management.

• Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Strong initiative, problem-solving, adaptability, and flexibility.

• Ability to practice autonomously without direct supervision.

• Proficiency with information management and technology.

• Willingness to obtain additional/multi-state licensure as needed.

• Verifiable high school diploma or GED.

Certifications & Documentation

• Current  BLS certification is required. BLS certification must be from the  American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) .

• Candidates must provide documentation/screenshots of their BLS certification and professional license.

• DEA registration may be required during onboarding.

Schedule

The position is full-time at approximately 38 hours per week .

The schedule may include:

• Every other weekend.

• Possible holiday rotations.

• Clinic-specific training and scheduling requirements.
