Social Media Content Creator Internship

Hybrid Internship (50% Office | 50% On Location) Love TikTok? Always making Instagram Reels? The friend who's constantly taking photos of food before anyone can eat? If creating content sounds more like fun than work, this internship might be for you. Valamayo Social & Digital Marketing is looking for creative, outgoing college students who want real‑world experience creating content for restaurants, coffee shops, local businesses, events, and destinations across San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country. This isn't the kind of internship where you'll spend your day making coffee or filing paperwork. You'll actually help create content, visit local businesses, attend events, work with real clients, and see your work published across social media. If you enjoy meeting new people, trying new places, and bringing stories to life through photos and videos, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Be Doing Create fun and engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts. Capture photos and videos at restaurants, coffee shops, events, and local businesses. Help plan and schedule social media posts. Write captions and assist with content ideas. Respond to comments and messages on social media. Help businesses grow their online presence through creative marketing. Attend local events, grand openings, festivals, and community activities. Brainstorm new content ideas with our creative team. Work alongside experienced marketers, photographers, and content creators. Who We're Looking For Current college student or recent graduate studying Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related field. Outgoing and friendly personality. Comfortable talking to new people and being on camera. Not afraid to jump into a Reel, TikTok, or interview. Creative, motivated, and dependable. Enjoys discovering new restaurants, coffee shops, and local businesses. Open to trying different foods, desserts, coffee, and drinks while creating content. Active on social media and familiar with current trends. Has reliable transportation since we'll be visiting businesses throughout the San Antonio area. Photography, video editing, Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar experience is a bonus, but we're happy to teach someone who's eager to learn.
