This job was posted by : For more information, please see: The Housekeepers primary responsibility is to maintain the resort in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition for the enjoyment, safety and security of staff and guests. All Housekeepers must have a good knowledge of the housekeeping trade and all cleaning standards, methods and materials. All Housekeepers must have the ability to work various hours and be able to move continuously, stand for extended periods of time and lift/carry up to 35 pounds. All Housekeepers will perform standard housekeeping procedures such as cleaning cabins, lodge rooms, yurts, Conference Center and grounds and common areas, including but not limited to the following duties: Reports directly to Head Housekeeper for daily schedule and work assignments Maintain regular attendance, as required by scheduling, which may vary according to the needs of Acorns Resort Follows instruction on use of germicidal solutions to clean Ensures the daily completion of the housekeeping checklist and communicates clean and available Cabins, Lodge Rooms, Yurts and Conference Center to the front office promptly Maintains effective time management, ensuring that each Cabin, Lodge Room or Yurt is completed in a timely manner. Maximum time standards are: Lodge Rooms 45 minutes; 1-2 staff Cabins 1-5 1 hour (one hour); 2 staff Cabins 6-11 & 18 1.5-2 hours (one hour 30 minutes- 2 hours) 2 4 staff Cabins 12-15 1 hour 1.5 hours; 2-3 staff Cabins 16, 17 & 19-24 45 minutes 1 hour; 1-2 staff Sportsman Cabin 30 minutes; 2 staff Yurts 25 minutes; 1 staff These times do not include washing and folding of laundry. If a room appears to be dirty enough to require extra time, please notify Head Housekeeper (before you start), who will then verify extra cleaning time and extra cleaning fees that will be charged to guest. Ensures that laundry is done as needed Ensures Shower Rooms and Public Laundry rooms are cleaned, disinfected and restocked daily Reports any needed supplies to Head Housekeeper before completely out Reports any needed repairs immediately to Head Housekeeper Reports lost and found items immediately to Head Housekeeper, including liquor/beer Provide exceptional customer service to staff and guests. Approach all encounters with guests and employees with a friendly and helpful demeanor Follows all safety procedures and precautions in all housekeeping services Performs other duties assigned or requested Complies with all policies and procedures of Acorns Resort.
