Salary: $162,500 - 260,400 per year Requirements:

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree, 5+ years with an advanced degree, or 2+ years with a PhD; alternatively, 11+ years of relevant experience.
• At least 8 years designing, building, and operating complex distributed software systems in production.
• Strong expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, API design, cloud-native platforms, and data-intensive applications.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerized environments, CI/CD systems, and observability tools.
• Hands-on full-stack experience with React and backend development using Python, Node.js, Java, or similar languages.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Experience shaping technical strategy and influencing architectural direction across organizations.
• Expertise in system-design tradeoffs involving scalability, security, reliability, performance, cost, and developer productivity.

• Architect, build, and scale secure, maintainable, reliable, production-ready Generative AI and agentic applications.
• Own the architecture and delivery of major GenAI subsystems, lead design reviews, mentor I4/I5 engineers, and establish reusable engineering patterns and production standards.
• Design full-stack applications with robust APIs, workflow orchestration, secure data flows, observability, and operational readiness.
• Build React frontend experiences using reusable components, sound state management, accessibility practices, and performance optimization, integrated with backend APIs and AI services.
• Develop scalable backend services using Python, Node.js, and/or Java, including secure APIs, asynchronous processing, authentication, authorization, logging, error handling, and resiliency.
• Design and optimize data solutions using PostgreSQL, Redis, vector databases, and related technologies, including schemas, indexes, queries, transactions, caching, migrations, and data-access patterns.
• Implement agentic workflow capabilities such as intent routing, orchestration, tool execution, API integrations, data retrieval, workflow state management, human approval, guardrails, auditability, and enterprise-system integration.
• Develop AI-native features with LLM APIs and SDKs, including prompt orchestration, tool and function calling, structured outputs, streaming, model routing, and evaluation.
• Make informed engineering decisions about model selection, context, latency, cost, reliability, output quality, safety, and user experience.
• Design RAG solutions covering ingestion and ETL pipelines, embeddings, vector-database integration, retrieval, relevance ranking, grounding, and retrieval-quality evaluation.
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications using containers, DevOps practices, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and operational automation.
• Partner with engineering colleagues and cross-functional teams to clarify priorities, turn ambiguous needs into proofs of concept, and deliver production-quality solutions collaboratively.
• Establish observability and operational excellence for GenAI applications through end-to-end tracing, workflow telemetry, model evaluation, and monitoring.
