Washington Licensed HIM Coder

To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Washington Licensed HIM Coder will code various medical services including ambulatory surgery, hospital visits, and clinic procedures, ensuring compliance with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Code hospital, ambulatory surgical center, and clinic services using ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes Maintain coding quality and productivity standards while tracking and reporting coding activities Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance team communication and coding quality Required qualifications: Vocational school/certificate program in medical terminology, medical science, and coding guidelines Certification as a Professional Coder, Registered Health Information Technician, or similar coding credential Knowledge of ICD, CPT, and E&M coding, as well as medical billing compliance requirements Computer skills in a Windows environment, including proficiency in Excel and 10-key Customer service and organizational skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Virtual Vocations Inc
