Patient Services Representative I (Phlebotomist)
Location: Deltona, FL
Duration: 3 Months

Shift:

• Tuesday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 12:30 PM
• Saturday: 6:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) performs blood specimen collection, processes samples for laboratory testing, and delivers excellent patient service while ensuring accuracy, safety, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood specimens from adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients.
• Process and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Follow safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
• Provide professional customer service and work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (required); 1+ year preferred.
• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws.
• Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required only in CA, NV, and WA).
• Basic keyboard/data entry skills.
• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call if needed.
