Job Summary
Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) Location: unspecified. This role involves providing specialized pediatric care across various units within a childrens hospital and Level II pediatric trauma center. The position offers a dynamic environment where flexibility between units, on-call duties, and weekend shifts are expected to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Job Details

• Position Description: 1-year experience requirement; pediatric experience preferred. Will position float between units. On-call required based on unit census. Weekend shifts included, with 5 shifts in a 6-week period.
• Certifications: BLS, PALS.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (Compact license accepted), BLS, PALS certifications, experience with pediatric MedSurg units, familiarity with charting system (Epic), and pediatric patient care.
• Schedule: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible to float between units; adherence to specific scheduling and holiday coverage requirements; references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years required; response to screening questions about prior work at Providence facilities must be included; candidates should not reach out directly to facility contacts unless for an approved interview.
