Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide diagnostic imaging services using X-ray and radiologic procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and efficient imaging workflows while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiology procedures including general radiography, fluoroscopy, and specialized scans.
• Ensure proper positioning, collimation, and technical quality of images for clinical interpretation.
• Maintain accurate documentation within imaging systems such as Epic and McKesson.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety guidelines and infection control standards.
• Assist with unit orientation and adapt to various outpatient, inpatient, and surgical environments.
• Collaborate with technologists and healthcare staff to meet patient and department needs.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT certification and a valid New Hampshire license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of radiologic technologist experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in general radiography, fluoroscopy, and departmental systems.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including every other weekend and varying hours.
• Maintain compliance with background checks and drug screening policies.
• Previous experience in hospital or outpatient settings preferred.
