What You'll Do
- Conduct psychological assessments and screenings for inmates based on medical records and interviews
- Develop and modify individual treatment plans aligned with patient needs
- Provide mental health counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical staff, social workers, and security personnel to ensure integrated patient care
- Perform regular inmate rounds in confinement units to assess mental health status
- Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with facility protocols
What You Need
- Valid license or licensure eligibility as a Psychologist
- Experience in mental health, preferably in correctional or inpatient settings
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic interventions relevant to inmate populations
