Morrison Healthcare Location & Setting & Schedule Clinical Dietitian – Kingston, NY Morrison Healthcare at Health Alliance St. Mary's Avenue 100 bed Community Hospital 2 Full Days either on Saturday or Sunday + 2-4 hr. shifts/wk. Position Details The hospital has an Intensive Care Unit, medical-surgical floors and a behavioral health unit. Other responsibilities include remotely assessing patients at a Critical Access Hospital and/or reviewing notes from a Long Term Care Facility. You’ll provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in an acute care setting, working with a collaborative team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care. What You’ll Do Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans. Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to patients, families, staff, and the community. Apply the latest research in alignment with policies and protocols. Contribute to QAPI initiatives for patient care and clinical excellence. Partner with food service management to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals. Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training. What We’re Looking For Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible. Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice. Healthcare experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training encouraged.
