Estimator

Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed cost estimates for wind turbine decommissioning and recycling projects, including labor, equipment, materials, subcontractor services, and disposal/recycling costs. Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to identify scope, risks, and opportunities. Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure accurate pricing. Prepare bid proposals, cost summaries, and project schedules for client submissions. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and field teams to ensure alignment between estimates and project execution. Track historical data on costs and productivity to improve future estimates. Support business development by providing input during proposal strategy and client meetings. Assist in post-bid reviews, change orders, and cost tracking during project execution. Stay up to date on industry best practices, recycling technologies, and regulatory requirements related to wind energy decommissioning. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of estimating experience in construction, demolition, recycling, or renewable energy sectors; experience in wind decommissioning is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, equipment, and materials relevant to decommissioning and recycling. Familiarity with environmental regulations, waste disposal, and recycling practices. Proficient in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
