Critical Facilities Engineering Manager

Critical Infrastructure Engineering Manager Role Summary Support the day-to-day operations and key project initiatives throughout the region. Main point of contact in working with all external consultants that drive critical operations. Work hand in hand with our key Technology partners in delivering the change environment status and reporting for all offices and data centers throughout the region and operations. Principal Responsibilities Planning and coordination of all the main work streams - Maintenance, Operations and Projects, to ensure a seamless delivery of services which support and correspond with core business requirements on a 24x7 basis Keep updated weekly minutes for a weekly cal. Minutes to include All Bau work across the portfolio including all Operational Projects Responsibility for vendor contract agreements, Master Service Agrements, purchase orders, invoicing and variance controls. Utilize Mizuho finance framework tools to perform these tasks. Update the General Investment Spend (CapEx) tracker as needed to provide a real view of CapEx spends Current Spends Add new projects Monitor Spend vs Budget status Review, Code, Track all CriticalOpEX Update the Invoice Tracking and Variance Report when invoices are submitted to provide a real time view of the OpEx budget spends. Track NYC RPIE filings and RE Tax payments Enter new contracts in the Contract Portal 1. Maintain the Contract Cost and Expiration Tracker as new contracts are inputted then update as they move through the approval process 2. Ensure that appropriate vendors have an MSA in place 3. Tracker also includes non-portal contracts at this time 4. Review contracts and re-name using the appropriate naming convention to maintain consistency 5. Chase down signatures for approved contracts in the portal 6. Coordination of all new entities into the Mizuho Brand i. Vendor and contractor onboarding prospective ii. Document adherence Perform reclass activities to reassign a project from “Construction in Progress” to the appropriate budget class i.e. FF&E or Leasehold are primary examples Review and Track Monthly Energy Consumption (kWh and cost when available) Monthly/Annual reporting updated accurately and presented in a timely manner for all sites. This includes the Infrastructure plant and equipment auditing Main point of contact on all critical environments and maintenance affecting the business units and all offices throughout the region including Global Sites. Enter Service Now Change tickets into Service Now for all critical events including all offline or partial offline maintenances that could pose a risk to the business – site/systems not being available for the next business day Acountable for onsite supervision for all weekend activities. This may include being onsite as needed. On an as need basis provide vendor access support for individual sites Risk and Impact analysis of planned and emergency work. Review and update Mizuho policies and procedures for all facilities annually Provide notification in the D-InfraEarlyWarning Channel in Teams for impactful events up to including power events and utility outages, mechanical issues, or any event that may impact the Bank’s ability to conduct business Input “Start of Day RED/Yellow/Green Status Template” Attend “Start of Day Call” – report on any anomalies, weekly notables (Change Tickets) found in the LOOPs component Manage the /Technology change management process and follow through to completion. Responsible for weekly updates on scheduled work being performed for all locations and data centers throughout the region. Meetings with business owners before the weekend work and reporting after completion. This includes utilizing all CRES and IT based tools for notifications and reporting CRES Critical Infra &Calendar Enter Critical events (shutdowns etc.) Enter BAU maintenance activities i.e. Gen Run Tests, FA Maintenance and Testing Enter as best determined Change Freeze window and special events that could affect Critical work Chair the weekly review calendar review meeting every Wednesday at 2:30P Coordinate Site Shutdowns with our IT and Business partners Prepare individual site shut down scripts based on the specific type and task being performed. Conduct/Chair shutdown meeting with our IT and Business Partners Ensure shutdown notifications are issued to provide sufficient notice and or communicate to our IT and Business Partners when shutdowns are building driven Vendor management of planned maintenance tasks to be carried out and completed, contract management, COI’s, designated yearly reviews and updates Manage the overall risks and the implementation of all works associated with the critical infrastructure for the vendors. Assist in working with BCP/BCM for change management planning and incident management and reporting Preparation of work schedules and future planning for all locations. Liaison with all property owners for their yearly maintenance plans and scheduling Gather & Update Site Data as needed Enter/Update/Monitor CofI’s in Prism as needed Update Site Data – i.e. Primary Contact – emails, office ,and cell phone numbers Update Engineer data as needed Documentation management including online storage drives and hard copies such as drawings for each Mizuho site. Asset tagging of all Mizuho equipment and data input into the Aware Manager program. Global energy reporting with Headquarters monthly, quarterly and yearly Job Requirements: 10+ years managing critical infrastructure and for Investment Banks Knowledge and the use of financial tools Detail-oriented Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver key information to stakeholders and in large group settings Organizational skills for keeping track of various schedules, timelines and initiatives Understand and implementation of finance and budgeting Training and/or certifications related to the industry and this role Bachelors degree or related experience in the critical infrastructure and technology field. The expected base salary ranges from $106.000.00. - $180,000.00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
