Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current and active OT license issued in Ohio
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is advantageous
• Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, support staff, and families
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload and maintain thorough documentation

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary and high school students, adapting interventions to support diverse developmental needs
• Conduct student assessments and develop individualized treatment plans and goals consistent with IEP guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to implement strategies that foster student independence in school routines
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as a therapy resource
• Educate school staff and families on integrating therapeutic strategies into learning and daily activities
• Adjust service delivery and recommendations to remain in compliance with operating standards and caseload requirements

This contract role offers a well-balanced weekly schedule of 37.5 hours across five days, spanning from mid-October through late May.
