2nd Shift CNC Hydromat Machinist

We've partnered with a client at the forefront of high-volume precision manufacturing, and we are looking for a dedicated CNC Hydromat Machinist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining rotary transfer Hydromat machines (both CNC and legacy/hybrid units). You will produce high-precision brass, steel, and aluminum components used in hose assemblies, gas connections, and fluid-conveyance systems. Responsibilities

• Setup & Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate rotary transfer CNC Hydromat machines according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and job router specifications.
• Tooling & Adjustments: Install, align, and change cutting tools, drills, taps, reamers, and collets. Perform off-sets and adjustments to maintain tight mechanical tolerances.
• G-Code / Unit Programming: Review CNC programs, perform basic G-code edits at the control panel, and optimize cycle times for multi-station rotary processing.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final part inspections using precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, thread gauges).
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machining issues, excessive tool wear, and dimensional drift quickly to minimize downtime.
• Maintenance & Cleanliness: Perform daily preventive maintenance (fluid check, chip removal, lubrication) and keep work stations safe and organized.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
