Commercial Litigation Attorney | Manhattan, NY (Hybrid) – $250K

Location/Schedule: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid)

Base Salary: $250K

Practice : Commercial litigation. Contract disputes, business torts, and related civil matters in New York state and federal court, with files that also touch Albany and Washington.

Our client is a mid-size New York firm founded in the 1970's, with more than 80 attorneys. Commercial litigation sits next to corporate, real estate, trusts and estates, and government relations. Offices are in Manhattan, Albany, Washington, White Plains, and Palm Beach.

What You’ll Actually Do:

• Handle commercial disputes in New York state and federal court, from pleadings through discovery.
• Draft motions and take depositions.
• Work with corporate or real estate colleagues when the dispute comes out of a deal.
• Prepare cases for mediation, hearing, and trial.

Requirements:

• JD and active New York bar
• 4–8 years post-bar commercial or civil litigation — current Associate, Counsel, or Partner
• Law clerks and summer associates will not be considered
• Depositions taken and motions drafted on business disputes
