About This Role The Supervisor of Patient Care in Infectious Disease is responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and developing quality improvement programs. This role is ideal for a nursing leader with a strong background in patient care and management. Highlights Location: Manhasset, NY Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You'll Do Lead the activities of assigned Patient Care team members. Develop quality improvement programs and instruct staff on them. Select, develop, manage, and evaluate direct reports. Ensure performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner. Keep current on management and healthcare topics for self-development. Identify, develop, implement, and maintain cost-effective methodologies for supply and equipment delivery. Participate as a member of the healthcare team and interdisciplinary committees. Act as a liaison to various departments to facilitate patient care delivery. Promote collegial relationships based on mutual respect and support. Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance and equipment replacement programs. Requirements Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Experience 4-6 years of relevant experience. 0-2 years of leadership/management experience required.
