You will perform subcontract administrator duties in support of the program, including: - Ensure all artifacts necessary to build a compliant procurement document are present and adequate - Engage with Subcontracts Manager Peer Reviewer to ensure compliant packages are presented - Engage with Subcontracts Manage Compliance for process compliance - Help develop subcontract specifications, statements of work and scope\. - Research and evaluate procurement sources and qualification - Manage Compliant Placement of Purchase Orders - - - **This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Titusville, FL , and be expected to work in the office\.** **Basic Qualifications:** **To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:** - Post\-secondary degree or training, or equivalent experience/combined education, - 1\+ years of professional experience, - Proficient computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite \(Word, Excel, and PowerPoint\) - You will need to be a US Citizen, andbe able to **obtain** and maintain a US SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information\. Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, proposal, and/or Category Management\) - Previous professional experience leading negotiations with suppliers to ensure cost and schedule objectives are captured in contractual commitments - Previous professional experience with the procurement and management of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment\. - Ability to work in a fast\-paced team environment and work well under pressure - Self Motived with a demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership, and accountability for tasks/assignment - Possess effective relationship building skills with peers, leadership and suppliers - You bring positivity and enthusiasm to every project you touch\.
