Job Description:Clinical Neuro HospitalistDepartment of NeurologyHarvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical CenterBeth Israel Deaconess Medical Center – Inpatient ServicesThe Department of Neurology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is seeking a full-time Clinical Neuro Hospitalist to join our growing inpatient neurology service. This position is primarily clinical and based at BIDMC, a tertiary academic medical center in Boston, Massachusetts.The successful candidate will provide inpatient neurology care and/or equivalent teleneurology coverage, with an annual commitment of one hundred eighty-two (182) inpatient or equivalent teleneurology shifts per fiscal year. Clinical responsibilities include the evaluation and management of patients with a wide range of acute neurologic conditions in collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team.If applicable, the candidate will be appointed to the full-time faculty of Harvard Medical School at a rank commensurate with experience and academic accomplishments.Job RequirementsMD or DO from an accredited medical schoolBoard-certified or board-eligible in NeurologyEligibility for a Massachusetts medical licenseDemonstrated excellence in inpatient neurological careStrong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, academic environmentAbout Beth Israel Deaconess Medical CenterBeth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a 743-bed hospital and Level I Trauma Center, is a founding member of Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH). Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations.
