Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a fast-paced Heart & Vascular Unit, caring for specialty patients including stable heart and lung transplants and LVADs.
• Float to sister units such as the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit as needed.
• Administer and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips, and provide telemetry monitoring both on unit and remotely.
• Ensure adherence to patient ratios of 1:5 days and 1:6 nights, with occasional rare adjustments.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with facility standards including the nicotine-free policy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including care techs, transport, and paramedics for comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Active RN License or pending with expected issuance prior to start date.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; CPI and NIH preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a large, urban hospital, preferably in a Level I Academic Medical Center.
• Proficiency in Epic charting system and experience with advanced cardiac care.
• Prior experience with telemetry, cardiac telemetry, and management of cardiac drips.
• No first-time travelers; must have previous travel experience.
