Location: Cherryville, NC

Hours: Monday-Thursday 4:15pm-4:00am

Typical responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC press brake machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions.
• Select and install the appropriate dies, punches, and tooling.
• Bend and form sheet metal and plate to specified dimensions and angles.
• Measure finished parts using tape measures, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain proper bend angles and dimensions.
• Inspect parts for quality and correct defects or dimensional problems.
• Maintain production rates while meeting quality requirements.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Handle and position metal parts, sometimes using lifting equipment.
• Work with other fabrication personnel to keep production moving.

Qualifications likely valued:

• Previous press brake or metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and measurements.
• Experience with CNC machinery is helpful.
• Basic knowledge of metal types, thicknesses, tooling, and bend allowances.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical manufacturing work.
