As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible, professional presence. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting operations with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and delivery authorizations, maintain visitor and driver logs, and control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and shipments in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Assist with maintaining orderly traffic flow at entry and exit points, directing visitors and delivery drivers in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least two years of security-related experience is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
