DCS PROGRAM MANAGER - CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT - DAVIDSON COUNTY Department of Children's Services Continuous Quality Improvement Nashville, TN Salary: Annual Salary: $67,764.00 - $87,912.00 Closing Date: 08/10/2026 Job Overview The Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Unit is responsible for overseeing the Department's Case Process Review (CPR) and driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen policy, practice, and service delivery. Key Responsibilities The primary responsibility of the CQI Program Manager is to manage all aspects of the CPR reviews, including preparing review tools, coordinating case randomization, monitoring completion, communicating action items, and analyzing and reporting review results. This work is a critical part of identifying risk, areas of improvement, and meeting accreditation requirements. In addition to managing the CPR Review, the Program Manager supports statewide CQI workgroups, leads special projects, and contributes to other quality assurance activities, including COA case file reviews and the newly developed Tennessee Children First Review (TCFR). Although this position is not currently supervising, it provides staff mentorship and assists with supervisory duties during the supervisor's absence or as operational needs require. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and experience equivalent to five years of professional work in one or a combination of the following: counseling or case management services, or program evaluation of counseling or case management services, two years of which must include children's and/or juvenile services program evaluation. OR Graduate course work credit received from an accredited college or university in social work, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, human services, and/or child development may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of two years, there being no substitution for the required two years of children's services program evaluation (e.g. 36 graduate quarter hours in one or a combination of the above listed fields may substitute for one year of the required experience).OR Experience equivalent to two years in one or a combination of the following: DCS Program Specialist or DCS Program Coordinator with the State of Tennessee.
