Job Description
***Only qualified Warehouse Operator candidates located near the Covington, Georgia area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Certifications

• Forklift certification or ability to obtain and maintain required licenses certifications or training

Experience

• 1+ year of warehouse experience or related experience

• Experience with material handling logistics or manufacturing environments

• Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment

• Experience working in a metrics driven environment

• Experience following standard operating procedures and quality guidelines

Tech Skills

• Forklift operation

• Material handling and inventory movement

• Ability to read write and comprehend documents in English

• Basic math calculation skills

• General computer skills

• Record maintenance and documentation

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts conveyors cranes handcarts and power trucks

Soft Skills

• Effective communication skills

• Ability to work under general to limited supervision

• Attention to detail

• Ability to follow established procedures

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Strong reliability and accountability

• Ability to develop skills and learn new processes

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand walk stoop kneel balance climb crouch and reach throughout the shift

• Ability to push pull grasp and perform repetitive hand movements

• Ability to lift and move over 50 pounds

• Ability to work around moving mechanical equipment

• Ability to work in hot summer conditions and cold winter conditions

• Ability to work in moderate to loud noise environments

• Ability to work around vibration fumes and airborne particles

• Ability to work at heights when required

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials parts assemblies and finished goods

• Transport materials throughout warehouse and production areas

• Follow standard operating procedures and quality requirements

• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required

• Complete routine warehouse and material handling tasks

• Support inventory movement and material management activities

• Adhere to safety procedures and operational guidelines

• Perform work within established quality standards

• Assist with logistics and warehouse operations as assigned

• Support team objectives and daily operational requirements

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse or related experience

• Forklift experience required

• Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English

• Ability to perform basic math calculations

• General computer proficiency

• Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM

Preferred Experience

• Experience in logistics manufacturing or distribution environments

• Experience working in metrics driven operations

• Experience with material handling management systems
