Maintenance Tech (Cut & Sew)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will: Repair and maintain all cut, sew, and embroidery equipment as needed. Perform finite work with little supervision required. Implement and perform multiple preventive maintenance tasks and react accordingly. Perform facility, mechanical, and electrical maintenance duties, including building fixtures. Assist in cross‑training of other maintenance technicians. Function independently with minimal supervision. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications Education: One‑year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Language skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning ability: Apply common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Certificates, licenses, registrations: None required. Other qualifications: Assist in cross‑training of other maintenance technicians.
