Part-Time Voice Artist For Ayşe TTS Model
We are looking for a part-time voice artist for our TTS project, "Ayşe". If you have professional recording equipment and a strong command of the language, and you want to contribute to the development of AI-based voice technologies, this position might be right for you.
About Us
SESTEK has been developing AI-based solutions for call centers since 2000. We serve over 550 corporate clients in 20 countries across sectors like banking, insurance, telecom, retail, and BPO. With offices in the United States, United Arab Emirates, and two R&D centers in Turkey, we operate with an interdisciplinary team of over 100 engineers.
SESTEK is part of Unifonic, which provides communication platform services (CPaaS) and is backed by investors like SoftBank Vision Fund.
Project Overview
This role is part of a large-scale Text-to-Speech (TTS) data set creation project. The recordings will be used to train AI models and for speech synthesis. Each session will consist of approximately 2,000 words. An average of 2–3 hours per day is expected. The total word count for the project is around 160,000 words. Depending on the project schedule, short breaks every 4–5 days may be planned. Additional recording sessions may be scheduled post model training and quality assessment, subject to mutual agreement.
Responsibilities
- Voice over selected texts, ensuring each session is 2,000 words, clear, and consistent
- Recording at least 2 sessions per day (approx. 4,000 words) as per project timeline
- Maintaining tonal, pronunciation, and tempo consistency throughout
- Following pronunciation and emphasis guidelines provided by the project team
- Delivering high-quality, noise-free audio files
- Coordinating with relevant teams during the project
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Female voice artist with a smooth Istanbul Turkish accent
- Owns professional recording studio or equivalent technical equipment
- Able to dedicate 2–3 hours daily to the project
- Disciplined in completing 2,000-word sessions per session
- Capable of maintaining vocal integrity over long-term recording projects
- Experience in voice-over, dubbing, IVR, e-learning, or AI projects is preferred
- High precision in following technical guidelines and pronunciation rules
