Procurement Specialist
Location: Leominster, MA, 01453
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support procurement operations during a new ERP system implementation. This role will focus on purchase order management, supplier data validation, quote collection, and ensuring accurate data migration.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and update Purchase Order specifications within the new ERP system.
- Audit and maintain supplier master data, including contact information, tax IDs, payment terms, and compliance records.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance to communicate supplier-related specification changes.
- Obtain updated quotes from preferred and alternate suppliers for materials and goods.
- Cross-reference supplier and PO data to identify gaps, errors, or inconsistencies before migration.
- Maintain documentation of specification updates, supplier communications, and quote requests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Vendor Management.
- Strong knowledge of Purchase Orders (POs) and specification documentation.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
- Experience with supplier data management and quote comparison.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple data sources.
- Proficiency in Excel and procurement software.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
