What You’ll Do & Key Responsibilities Safely transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and special events Assist residents with boarding and exiting the van, including wheelchair securement Follow schedules and coordinate timely pick-ups and drop-offs Observe residents during transport and report concerns to nursing staffComplete incident reports and communicate with supervisors as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicle (fuel, fluids, basic supplies) Coordinate vehicle maintenance and service needs Communicate daily with nursing and facility teams Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff Maintain reliable attendance and work flexible hours, including weekends Qualifications Minimum 21 years of age Valid Driver’s License with Class D – Chauffeur Endorsement Not more than 2 traffic violations within the last 3 years No previous driving while under the influence convictions CPR and first aide certification or willingness to accomplish Why Join Care Initiatives Competitive Compensation: Earn a highly competitive wage.
