ID: 78016627 Shift: 8hr Days 8x5 Description: HWL Health Lawrence Hospital-AN-1212 Orientation Dates: 6/23, 7/14, 7/28\r\nLooking for a Professional Development Specialist\r\n5 Years RN experience w/ Minimum of BSN, MSN Preferred\r\nShift: M-F business hrs (flexible as per their start/end time, this is non-exempt role) no weekends/nights \r\nProvides educational consultation, facilitation planning, implementing and evaluating education programs that award continuing education credit \r\nParticipates in the planning and delivery of the clinical aspects of new employee orientation \r\nWorks with local schools of nursing in various capacities related to student practicum assignments at Lawrence General Hospital \r\nWorks within the Professional Development Department and with clinical nurse educators to establish clinical competencies, competency assessment and educational skills sessions \r\nCoordinates the operation of the Simulation Lab, which includes: creating and executing simulation scenarios with debriefing; maintenance of simulation equipment (preventative and necessary repair) and necessary supplies; coordinating the use of the lab for multidisciplinary clinical staff; data collection to evaluate learning and outcomes \r\nNeeded Certs/License: MA License BLS, \r\nProfessional development, education, specialty certs are bonuses but not required.
