About the Role The General Manager – Restaurant Excellence Team assists with management coverage at all restaurants, coordinating, supervising, training, and assisting in all operational areas during new restaurant openings and at existing Mina Group restaurants. This role supports restaurants in times of management shortages or transitions. Applicants must be open to relocation. The candidate must have exceptional financial acumen, service expertise, impeccable eye for detail, high professionalism, and the ability to execute standards of a 2‑star Michelin establishment. A proven track record of driving revenue, increasing team engagement and retention, and developing and implementing systems is required. What You Bring to the Table Personal Attributes Exceptional communication and organizational skills Gracious spirit of hospitality Intellectual curiosity and emotional maturity Continually strive to develop staff in food and service education Ability to work clean, organized, and lead a team Strong eye toward personal and team development Professional Attributes Experience with industry specific software: Restaurant 365, Micros, Toast, Open Table, Seven Rooms, Avero, and others Adept at team building across back and front of house Adaptability in leadership style and business approach Advanced knowledge of Food and Wine, Level 1 Somm certification desirable Desire to teach and mentor staff and interns Basic Qualifications 5–7 years of experience in fine dining high‑volume restaurant, with at least 4 years in a leadership role Hospitality degree preferred Knowledge of safety and hygiene protocols Working knowledge of HR practices and labor laws Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently Stamina to work in excess of 40 hours per week Travel Extensive travel is required to support essential job functions. Travel may include visits to certain restaurants for extended periods, assisting with manager coverage during transitions, and aiding new restaurant openings. Timeframe and Initiative The Restaurant Excellence Team (REX) provides leadership candidates with full training in MINA Group standard operating procedures, systems, and concepts through assignments at multiple locations. The expectation is that REX members assume a full‑time position at a MINA Group restaurant within 12–18 months from hire date. Salary for this Role Salary ranges from $90,000–$100,000, moving to $110,000–$130,000 after relocation to a portfolio property.
