Maintenance Technician Department: Maintenance
Job Status: Full Time FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt Overtime Required Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor Shift: 3:55pm to 12:00am or 11:55pm - 8:00am POSITION SUMMARY The Maintenance Technician's primary responsibility is to repair and maintain the company's machinery, equipment, and building using a broad knowledge of maintenance skills including mechanical repair, plumbing, welding, carpentry, and electrical repair. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. • Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment used throughout the company to ensure optimal function.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions or operating difficulties and make repairs or adjustments to keep equipment in production.
• Develop and enhance a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and equipment.
• Complete maintenance projects to advance the company as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
• Update and maintain required maintenance logs and files to ensure timely and appropriate maintenance is achieved. COMPETENCIES

A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Fork Truck, BOOM Lift, and VERSA Lift Certified
• Lock Out, Tag Out Certified PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical environment requires the employee to work in a manufacturing and office environment. The employee must have the ability to wear personal protective equipment. Minimal travel may be required. The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
