Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days Shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite | 36–48 Hours Per Week Available

Key Responsibilities

• Float across multiple critical care units including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
• Provide competent ICU-level care to patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement
• Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill patients across a variety of high-acuity environments
• Adapt quickly to varying unit protocols and patient populations as part of a critical care float pool
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New York State
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is required
• Demonstrated competency caring for patients across multiple ICU settings
• Must be willing to complete a competency assessment within 24 hours of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center strongly preferred
• Prior experience floating to a variety of ICU environments
• Familiarity with progressive critical care and step-down patient populations
